For cosmetic applications, both products inhibit muscle movement, preventing wrinkles from developing or worsening. Visible lines and wrinkles are relaxed and softened.
The effects from these neuromodulators will last 4 to 6 months. As muscle action gradually returns, the lines and wrinkles will begin to reappear and need to be retreated. Lines & wrinkles often appear less severe with time, as treatments train the muscles to relax.
